Headpats lets a player pat another player's head, with a first-person sway effect and a purr sound on the petted player.
What it does
Headpats adds a way for players to give head pats to their friends in multiplayer. The original idea came from a mod by enjarai, and this version reuses a portion of its code. Headpats runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 and requires Cloth Config API. Both the client and the server need the mod installed for it to work properly.

Unlike the original, the mod functions without the server providing its own support for the feature.
Configurable sway and purr
A Cloth Config menu lets each player set how strongly the first-person view sways, and players who are petted make a purring sound. Vanilla distortion settings also affect the sway.

A Forge 1.20.1 port of Headpat a Friend!. You can now hold right click on another player's head to headpat them! This mod is required to be setup on both the client and server. This may not work properly without server support unlike the original.
