Advanced Redstone Expansion
by hwarne09
Advanced Redstone Expansion adds redstone blocks, wireless channels and filtering hoppers to survival worlds and multiplayer servers.
What it does
The mod adds blocks that generate timed redstone pulses, detect nearby players and entities, and output a signal when triggered. A wireless transmitter and its matching receiver share a configurable channel and pass a signal across any distance, including between dimensions. Channel data is stored on the server, so a network keeps working across restarts. Redstone power levels follow vanilla rules, from 0 to 15, so existing contraptions behave as before.
Filter hopper tiers accept between one and five item types, which lets a sorting line stay compact. An omni-directional dust variant sends its output in every direction. Setting screens show a 3D preview of the block beside a readout of its timing values, so settings can be checked before a build runs. The mod requires Fabric API and runs on Fabric for 1.21.11, with files for that single version. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is published under the MIT License but is not open source.
Key features
Wireless signal channels
Transmitters and receivers linked by a shared channel carry a signal over any distance, even between dimensions.
Timed pulse generator
A block emits configurable redstone pulses with precise tick timing, or a short pulse on each edge of a signal.
Player and entity detection
A detector block outputs a redstone signal when players or entities are nearby.
Filter hoppers
Hopper tiers accept between one and five item filters, supporting compact item sorting.
Configuration previews
Setting screens include a 3D block preview and numeric readouts for timing and channels.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players building compact contraptions or larger automated systems, and server owners who want shared redstone networks with fixed timing and data kept on the server.
How it compares
Redstone Ready Bundles is server-side only, open source under the MIT License, and published for 1.21.10 only. Regexing hoppers is also server-side only and open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.20.6 – 1.21.11, so it covers a wider version range but does not add wireless channels. Advanced Redstone Expansion needs both sides, while Smart Sorter runs on client and server and is open source under the MIT License for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11.
