Advanced Reach Display
by Blueskiez77
Advanced Reach Display shows the distance from the local player to an enemy's hitbox and the distance of each hit, on screen during combat.
What it does
The mod draws reach information on the HUD in three displays: the distance to the eye of the enemy's hitbox, the distance of the last hit, and an average hit distance taken from either the last X hits or the whole local session. Each display can be turned on or off separately. Players use the figures to check how far their hits land and to keep a combo within reach.
Text size, colour, placement, shadow and the number of decimal places are all configurable, so the readout can sit wherever it does not cover the crosshair or the hotbar. Options are edited in a settings screen built with YetAnotherConfigLib, reached through Mod Menu.
The mod is Fabric-only and runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it and players can join without installing it. Advanced Reach Display is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. Builds cover 1.21.5 – 26.3, with the latest file 3.0.3-26.3 for 26.3, published 2026-10-12.
