A.V.A - Alliance of Valiant Arms Guns

by PellucidDice

A.V.A - Alliance of Valiant Arms Guns brings the weapons of the A.V.A free-to-play shooter into Minecraft, with guns, stats set through datapacks and a client configuration menu.

What it does

Guns from the A.V.A shooter are added to the game, and most of their stats are defined in datapacks, so a pack maker can change damage, fire rate and similar values without editing Java code. A client configuration is opened in game with the ava clientConfig command. The mod runs on Forge and NeoForge and is built for game versions 1.16.5 – 26.3.

The mod is distributed as client and server, so the server and every player need it to use the weapons. Forge files and NeoForge files are both published, and the mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, which makes it open source with public source code and an issue tracker. Its work-in-progress dimension can cause datapack errors in vanilla content after removal, a problem the author notes was also seen with Twilight Forest.

Key features

  1. Shooter weapons

Guns based on the A.V.A - Alliance of Valiant Arms shooter are added as items in the game.

  2. Datapack weapon stats

Most weapon statistics are set in datapacks, which lets pack makers rebalance the guns.

  3. In-game client configuration

A client configuration screen is reached through the ava clientConfig command while playing.

  4. Translated interface

Community translations exist for Russian, German, Vietnamese, Turkish, French and Korean, though the translation set is incomplete.
