3Lives

by SamIsPoggers

3Lives is a Forge and NeoForge minigame in which each player has three lives before being banned from the server.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

Each player starts with three lives, and losing them bans the player from the server. The lives are stored per player under their UUID, so the count follows the account. Files are built for 1.20.1 on Forge and NeoForge, and the mod needs client and server, so both sides run it.

Key features

  1. Three lives per player

Each player is banned once all three lives are used up, which sets the pace of a run.

  2. Life command

A life command adds or removes lives from a player, which is useful for testing the setup.

  3. Saved life counts

Remaining lives are kept in the playerlives.json file inside the configs folder, keyed by UUID.

Compatibility

Questions

Does 3Lives need to be installed on the server?

Where are remaining lives stored?

They are saved in playerlives.json in the configs folder, keyed by each player's UUID.

What the author says

There is a /life command that lets you add or remove a player's life for testing purposes! Alternatively, you can look for playerlives.json in the configs folder, where every player's lives are stored with their UUID.
