Zulip Bridge
by zotan
Zulip Bridge links a Minecraft server's chat with a Zulip channel, so messages from both sides reach each other.
What it does
Messages move in both directions between the in-game chat and the chosen Zulip channel. Server events such as server start and stop, player join and leave, player death and advancements can be forwarded to the channel too. Markdown formatting is not translated yet, so formatted text arrives as plain characters.
The configuration file gives fine-grained control over which events are bridged, and chat messages alone can be switched off while other events keep flowing. Architectury API and Fabric API are required, and the mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. Builds target Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.16.5 – 26.3, and the code is released into the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal, with source code and an issue tracker available.
Key features
Two-way chat bridge
Messages typed in Minecraft appear in the Zulip channel, and messages posted there appear in the game chat.
Server event forwarding
Server start and stop, player join and leave, deaths and advancements can be posted to the channel as they happen.
Granular event control
Each bridged event can be enabled or disabled separately in the configuration, including plain chat messages.

Use cases
Community moderation channel
Server staff can follow joins, deaths and advancements in a Zulip channel without opening the game.
Remote chat for a server
Players who cannot join the game still see and send messages through the Zulip channel.
Who it’s for: Server owners who run a community on Zulip and want the in-game chat and server events visible there.
How it compares
TeaBridge is server-side only and open source under the MIT License, with files for Fabric and Quilt across 1.19.2 – 1.21.1. Mc2Discord is also server-side only and open source under the Apache License 2.0, but it bridges Discord rather than Zulip and covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.12.2 – 26.3. Chat Channels is a client-side only Fabric mod under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so it does not run on the server.
