ZoomerLibrary
ZoomerLibrary is a library for building zoom effects, letting other mods register custom spyglasses and zoom behaviors on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
What it does
Zoom is handled through zoom instances, each of which contains three sub-instances. A mod can use the sub-instances that the library provides or implement its own. Transition modes, mouse modifiers and zoom overlays can be combined inside an instance, and the zoom state is switched on and off with the setZoom method.
To make a zoom instance work, the mod has to register it with ZoomRegistry first, then set its zoom state to true. Setting the state back to false ends the zoom. The project is open source under the MIT License, with public access to its source code and issue tracker. Its builds for 1.20 – 1.20.4 require Architectury API, and the client is the only side that needs the library.
The API is still changing. Breaking changes can occur until a final release is published, so mods that depend on it should be checked against each new build.
Key features
Zoom instances
Each zoom is built from a zoom instance that holds three sub-instances, which set how the view changes.
Custom spyglasses
Other mods can create their own zoom-driven spyglasses by building on the library's instances, without writing the zoom logic from scratch.
Transitions and overlays
Transition modes, mouse modifiers and zoom overlays can be attached to an instance to shape how a zoom looks and responds.
Registry-based activation
An instance has to be registered with ZoomRegistry before it works, and its state is then toggled with setZoom.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Mod developers who want to add zoom effects to their own mods. Players do not interact with the library directly and only need it when a mod they use depends on it.
How it compares
LibZoomer is an unofficial Architectury port, released under the MIT License and open source, for 1.17 – 1.21 on Fabric and Quilt, and it is client-side only. ZoomerLibrary is also open source under the MIT License, covers 1.20 – 1.20.4 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and is client-side only as well, so the two differ mainly in their loaders and version range. SinoCore is not open source, uses a custom license and runs on the client and server together for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
