Zet's Grace: Craft Equipment adds recipes that let players craft armor, horse gear and other equipment that vanilla Minecraft makes impossible to craft.

What it does

Several equipment items in vanilla Minecraft cannot be crafted, and the mod supplies recipes for them so that players can obtain them through normal crafting. The covered items include Chainmail Armor, Horse Armor, Enchanted Golden Apple and Totem Undying, plus Saddle for versions before 1.21.6, Name Tag for versions before 26.1, Heavy Core since 1.21 and Nautilus Armor since 1.21.11.

The recipes are meant to reduce grinding, so a player who wants a piece of equipment can build it from materials instead of hunting for it in the world. Only the server must run the mod to add the recipes; players may leave it out and still join.

Zet's Grace: Craft Equipment runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and a data pack build is also available. Files cover 1.13 – 26.2 across 50 release versions, with snapshot builds published alongside them. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

  1. Craftable chainmail armor

    Chainmail armor pieces can be crafted directly, so players do not need to find them in the world.

  2. Craftable horse armor

    Horse armor recipes let players build protective gear for their mounts from ordinary materials.

  3. Craftable totem and golden apple

    Totem Undying and Enchanted Golden Apple gain crafting recipes that vanilla leaves out.

  4. Version-specific items

    Saddle, Name Tag, Heavy Core and Nautilus Armor are covered for the versions where they were missing recipes.
