What it does

Yapping Tooltips adds tooltips to most items, and developers can add their own through a language file. A sample in the docs gives a stone block a tooltip that displays Hello world. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it and players join without installing anything. Fabric API is required on Fabric, and the mod is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt. Its latest files target 1.21.1, and the wider release range covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.1. The code is available as a public source repository, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
