Dungeon's Delight
by Yirmiri
Players who cook their catches can use Dungeon's Delight, an addon that turns monsters into cookable food and new status-effect meals.
What it does
The mod adds recipes that cook monsters and the eggs they leave behind, along with new status effects gained from eating those dishes. Its author describes the aim as new content in the farming and cooking side of the game, with compatibility for other mods planned as the project grows.
Dungeon's Delight depends on StationAPI, which must be installed alongside it. Cleaver Compendium requires it, so that mod also needs StationAPI present. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, with game versions b1.7.3 – 1.21.1 covered across four release versions, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it.
The license is custom and the mod is not open source, though public links exist for the source code, issue tracker and wiki. Snapshot builds are published. The latest Forge file is 1.3.1 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge file is 1.5.1 for 1.21.1, both dated 2026-09-13.
Key features
Cookable monsters
Monsters can be cooked into dishes, so their drops become ingredients rather than only trophies.
Monster-based status effects
Eating the monster dishes grants new status effects that the base game does not provide.
Embedded egg recipes
Recipes for embedded eggs are shown in the recipe viewer as part of the cooking process.
Knife drops and cleavers
Mobs drop items for knives, and new cleavers are added to the mod's equipment.
Copper cup variants
Copper cup variants are added for serving the new dishes.
