What it does

Cleaver Compendium is a Forge addon for Dungeon's Delight, and it requires Dungeon's Delight to run. It adds compatibility between Dungeon's Delight and other mods that add cleaver tool sets, so their cleavers can be used alongside the base weapons. Most of the new cleavers are made from materials found in other mods, and some carry bonus features or unique materials of their own.

Each cleaver keeps the stats and abilities suited to its material, and it is repaired with the correct items. The mod registers only the cleavers from mods that are actually installed, and any single cleaver can be disabled in the config if it is not wanted. Installation follows the usual Forge pattern, with Dungeon's Delight on the same side as the addon.

The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both need it. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 0.8.1 as the latest build from 2026-05-09. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Silver magic damage

The Silver Cleaver adds a bonus to magic damage, which suits fights against undead and other magic-sensitive targets.

  2. Status effects on hit

Necromium cleavers can inflict slowness and grant fire immunity, while the Lead Cleaver inflicts brain damage on a hit.

  3. Kinetic and throwing bonuses

The Electrum Cleaver adds extra kinetic damage, and several cleavers throw farther, including the Neptunium Cleaver underwater.

  4. Enchantment and floating items

The Fluix Cleaver has a built-in looting enchantment, and enderite cleavers float when dropped.
