Xtra Commands

The commands cover a mix of practical and playful uses. Some clear or reshape the terrain around a player: one removes a 3x3x1 square of blocks beneath the player's feet, which helps when building a one-block-wide bridge across a lava lake in the Nether, and another digs a 5x5x5 hole in the nearest suitable spot and fills it with the liquid the player picks. A teleport command moves the player to the nearest opening beneath them, or to the lowest position above bedrock when no opening is found.

Other commands act on mobs and inventories. A random-entity command picks one entity from a list written in double quotes and separated by vertical lines, then spawns it at the player's coordinates, and a summon command creates a named mob that keeps its default vanilla equipment. A time command moves the clock to the nearest day or the nearest night, a reset command returns the game to day zero, and an effect command reverses the WASD keys or rotates the camera. Players cannot be killed by these commands directly, and removing a player's armor only places it in their inventory when there is room.
