Worthy Food

Worthy Food adds simple craftable foods built from vanilla ingredients, with Fabric API required on Fabric, and the mod is added to the world gradually over time.
What it does
Recipes are kept balanced: most dishes use vanilla ingredients, and the mod avoids flooding the world with large numbers of unused crops. Some foods take longer to eat than usual and restore less hunger, for example Apple Pie at 8 hunger restored over 16 of the 20 halves, while Cooked Bacon and Biscuit take half the usual time. New dishes arrive in later updates, often themed after Japanese or French cooking, and recipes and textures are adjusted as the mod changes.
The mod needs Fabric API on the Fabric loader and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt across nine release versions, 1.19 – 1.20.4, under the MIT License, which means the mod is not open source. The first release came out on 2023-07-15 and the latest on 2023-11-04.

Each food restores a set amount of hunger and some are eaten faster than others, which changes how they are used.

Ingredients are prepared with a knife and combined in a cooking pot, forming the core crafting route.

New foods are added over time, with recipes and textures tuned as the list grows.
