Origins: Wormlight
Origins: Wormlight is a Fabric and Quilt equipment and utility mod that gives an origin a light-based set of abilities built around a resource called Candlelight.
What it does
Wormlight adds the Candlelight essence, which fuels the origin's abilities. Candlelight comes from glow berries, sparkling ores and other light sources, and mining stone without Silk Touch yields only traces of it. Players gain Candlelight abilities that let them see through darkness and make their footsteps silent, and the depths of the world become a reason to explore.
The origin is built around the Lantern Light and Primary Ability. Using light lets the body float forward and phase through blocks, while a burst of light pushes nearby entities away and coats ores with glowing essence. Repairing items with raw ores restores durability in proportion to the ore's quality, and Candlelight depletion can be mitigated with leather or gold helmets. Sunlight drains Candlelight, and without it the player bursts into flames when exposed to the sun. Wormlight depends on Origins, which must be installed alongside it. Four tomes can be uncovered through the advancements, which tell the story.
