Withering Enchantment adds a swords enchantment that applies the wither effect to the creatures a player hits.
What it does
Swords carrying the Withering enchantment apply the wither effect to the victims they strike. The enchantment tops out at 2 levels, and each level lengthens the duration of the effect. It can be obtained from enchantment tables, loot chests and trading with villagers.
Environment: the server needs the mod, and clients may leave it out. The license is the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, and the source code is public. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 17 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3, with 1.0.4 as the latest build.
