Wanderer's Catalogue 📘
Wanderer's Catalogue is a small Fabric and Quilt adventure mod that adds a book players buy from Wandering Traders to choose a trade item.
What it does
A Wandering Trader sells the Catalogue for 8 emeralds. Once a player has bought the book, it shows the list of items that wandering traders sell, and the player picks one. The chosen item then appears in the collection of the next Wandering Trader the player finds, so the trade is kept without searching through random stock.
The book changes only which item a trader carries for the player, not how trades or prices work. Reliable Trading Services is the goal of the mod, and a choice made once is kept in place for later encounters with Wandering Traders in the same world.
The mod requires Fabric API on both loaders and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt, with 1.0.4 for 1.20 as the latest file on both, under All rights reserved. Builds cover 1.19 – 1.20 across four release versions, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.

How it compares
Wandering Collector is a Fabric server-side mod under the Apache License 2.0, published for 1.16.4 – 1.20.4, and it is open source. Better Wandering Traders runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, is server required with optional client and is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source and its files target 1.21.5 – 26.3, so it does not cover the same versions as this mod.
