VerseWorks: A Mystcraft Inspired Mod

Instead of walking through a portal and gathering raw verses, a player writes the verse parameters into a signed book. The book's title becomes the name of the new world, and the text inside the book influences its seed. Dye added during the ritual can change the color of the Hyperbook's title.

Ritual strength shapes the result. Low-verse rituals produce high randomness and physical world corruption, and specific corruptions can be blocked from spawning. Rare stable world verses lock the dimension's physics and prevent rot. A player prepares the way back by dropping 32 Hyper Dust pieces into a cauldron of paper, which creates an Unlinked Hyperbook; right-clicking anywhere sets a return point and turns it into a Linked Hyperbook, the only way home once the player has crossed over.

VerseWorks runs on Forge and NeoForge and is a client and server mod, so both the server and every player need it. Builds exist for 1.21.1, 1.21.11 and 26.1.2, with 1.3.8 for 1.21.1 as the latest NeoForge file. The mod is released under All rights reserved. Fabric support is planned for older versions.
