RetroRig: Pipes
by kyden_
RetroRig: Pipes brings the classic BuildCraft pipe system to NeoForge, moving items, fluids and FE energy through visible pipes that connect to machines, containers, tanks and power blocks.
What it does
Pipes adapt the BuildCraft transport style to modern Minecraft. Items are drawn while they travel through item pipes, fluids show their real textures inside fluid pipes, and energy beams are rendered within energy pipes, so a player can see what is moving and where. Routing is handled by filtering pipes that are readable in-game, and a wrench sets up connections without a large amount of manual configuration.
The mod covers the familiar pipe tiers of the older era. Wooden pipes handle extraction, cobblestone pipes carry transport lines, and iron, diamond, emerald, obsidian, void and freight pipes add one-way flow, sorting, filtered extraction, collection, disposal and long-distance transfer. Pipes is a transport layer rather than a full factory framework, and it is meant to work with other mods instead of replacing them. Within the wider RetroRig suite, this mod sits alongside RetroRig, and both sides of a connection, the server and each player, must run it. Files are published for NeoForge only, for 1.21.1 and 26.1.2, with 1.0.3 for 1.21.1 as the latest file.
