With VeinBreaker installed, a single block break while sneaking can clear a whole connected vein of ore, a tree, or a group of crops.
What it does
VeinBreaker lets a player break an entire connected vein of ores, all the logs and leaves of a tree, or large sections of crops in one action. The break is triggered by sneaking while using a suitable tool, and the reach of the chain is limited by configurable settings. Block lists and chain limits can be adjusted in a configuration screen, so server owners decide which blocks count and how far a break can extend.
The mod targets resource gathering that is normally repetitive, aiming to reduce the number of separate harvests a player has to make. Its loot handling and balance options are meant to keep the vanilla pace of mining and farming intact. Client and server need the mod together, so every player on a server that runs it needs it too.
VeinBreaker is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is not open source. Files are published for Fabric and Forge, with 10 release versions 1.12.2 – 1.21.8 and the latest Fabric file at 1.0.0 for 1.21.8.
