Veil Light Utility
by Scotticles
Veil Light Utility lets players save, load and remove the lights they place with the Veil library, so custom lighting can persist after leaving a world.
What it does
Lights added with the Quick HUD menu can be saved when a player leaves a world and loaded again on rejoining, which suits adventure maps and larger projects that depend on ambient lighting. A custom light editor lets lights be named, and a set of removal tools clears lights within 3, 10 or 15 blocks, removes directional lights, or removes every light in the world.
The mod is a beta release that adds a few basic light management features, and its author expects to expand it considerably later. It works alongside True Darkness Refabricated, which removes most sky lighting at night, and it is configured to ignore the moon so the two can be combined to paint a world with fully custom light. Multiplayer compatibility is listed, and gallery images show the combination in use. Fabric API and ImGuiMC are required, Sodium is optional, and Iris Shaders is incompatible.
Veil is bundled inside the mod. The file targets 1.21.1 only, is listed on the beta channel, and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Source code, an issue tracker and a wiki are publicly linked.
