Chronicled Umbrellas adds nine colored umbrellas that slow a fall and help players explore a little more safely.
What it does
Players hold the use key with an umbrella equipped to open it, which slows the fall and can save a player from fall damage. The mod is small and focused on that single function, and it is distributed for Fabric and Quilt with Fabric API required. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files cover 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

The umbrellas come in nine colors and can be crafted in survival, with a recipe shown in a gallery demonstration.
Re-dyeable umbrellas
