Uncraftable No More

by JustErikSK

Uncraftable No More restores recipes for items that vanilla Minecraft marks as impossible to craft, so players can make them in the crafting grid.

What it does

Several items that cannot normally be crafted become craftable through the mod. The recipes cover a set of dyes, blocks, armor and enchanted items that players otherwise have to find in the world or get from loot. Crafting them through the mod gives players another route to items they would otherwise lack.

The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. The latest file, v1.0.8 for 26.2, was released on 2026-10-06. Public source code and an issue tracker are linked from the project, so anyone can read the code or report a problem.

Key features

  1. Brown dye recipe

Brown dye can be crafted from ingredients in the grid, instead of only being obtained in the world.

  2. Brown mushroom block

The brown mushroom block recipe is added, so players can make the block directly.

  3. Copper and diamond horse armor

Copper and diamond horse armor pieces are craftable, giving players a way to equip horses without finding them.

  4. Nautilus armor and crying obsidian

Copper and diamond nautilus armor and crying obsidian are added to the crafting options.

  5. Enchanted golden apple name tag

A recipe for a name tag enchanted golden apple is included, for players who want that item in their inventory.
