Ultimate Bosses is a server-side data pack that adds new boss encounters, including the Lost Angel and Big Phantom, with more planned after the Ender Dragon.
What it does
The pack adds boss fights to Minecraft Java Edition worlds. Its first encounters are the Lost Angel, Zombie Horseman, Flying Witch, Blue Shulker and Big Phantom, and the author states that more bosses will be added later. Its stated aim is to add further high-quality bosses, with more appearing once the Ender Dragon has been defeated.
Because it is a data pack, the bosses are loaded from the world rather than from a loader's code. The pack is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt as well as for data pack use, so it can be applied on those platforms. Server owners who want these encounters need to run it on the server, while players may add it without harm.
Files cover 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3 and 1.20.4, and the latest build, 1.0.4+mod, is for 1.20.4 and dated 2024-04-07. The pack is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
