Tyz's Hammers

by Tyzbrand

Tyz's Hammers, a Forge and NeoForge equipment mod, adds hammers that break a 3x3 or 5x5 area in one swing and carry different abilities.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.19.4 – 1.21.1

What it does

Each hammer in the set works as a breaking tool with its own ability. Hammers are made from iron, copper, diamond and other materials, and upgraded versions cover larger 3x3 and 5x5 areas. The Magma hammer smelts ores as it breaks them, the Steel hammer can break bedrock, the Emerald hammer duplicates blocks, the Amethyst hammer grants haste, and the Obsidian hammer adds durability. A special workbench is added for crafting the set.

The mod keeps the vanilla breaking loop and adds its tools on top of it, so a player who skips the hammers still plays the same game. It is published for Forge and NeoForge only, with builds for Minecraft 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.20.6 and 1.21.1. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Area mining

Hammers break a 3x3 block area, and upgraded hammers extend the reach to 5x5 for faster clearing.

  2. Material tiers

Hammers come in iron, copper, diamond and other tiers, each with its own durability and strength.

  3. Magma auto smelting

The Magma hammer smelts ores as it breaks them, so broken ore arrives as ingots without a furnace.

  4. Bedrock and duplication

The Steel hammer can break bedrock, and the Emerald hammer duplicates the blocks it breaks.

  5. Special workbench

A dedicated workbench is added for crafting the hammers and their upgrades.

Use cases

Faster clearing

Players who clear large areas of stone or ore can break a whole 3x3 or 5x5 section per swing instead of one block at a time.

Ore processing

The Magma hammer lets a player skip the furnace for ore that it breaks, which suits long sessions.

Who it’s for: Players who want breaking tools with area effects and special abilities on Forge or NeoForge, with the server and clients both running the mod.
