TreeTimber
TreeTimber lets a player fell an entire tree with one swing of an axe, breaking the whole trunk and canopy in a single action.
What it does
Breaking a tree block by block is replaced by a single chop. The mod detects the connected wood of a tree when the axe strikes the trunk and removes it in one pass, so gathering wood in survival takes far fewer actions. The author describes it as a tool for speeding up resource gathering while keeping the game balanced.
Environment: the mod is server-side only, so only the server needs it and players join without installing anything. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 17 release versions. The newest files are 1.0.2 for 26.3, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. No other catalog mod is required.
Key features
One-swing tree felling
Striking a tree trunk with an axe removes the connected wood of the whole tree in one action.
Resource gathering in survival
The chop speeds up collecting wood, which matters most in survival worlds where wood is gathered by hand.
Connected wood detection
The removal follows the tree's own wood blocks, so neighboring trees and unrelated blocks are left in place.

Use cases
Survival wood gathering
Players collecting logs for building or crafting can clear a tree in one action instead of breaking each block.
Server-hosted worlds
Because only the server runs the mod, a server owner can add tree felling without asking players to install anything.
Who it’s for: Survival players who gather large amounts of wood, and server owners who want faster tree felling without a client install.
