Tree Brush

by ThirtyFangs

Tree Brush lets a player place whole trees, grass and other vegetation in one click with a brush tool, once the wand is obtained.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalAll rights reserved1.21.5 – 26.3

What it does

Activating the brush places a chosen tree or plant type on the spot. Vegetation is placed automatically according to the kind of tree selected, so a player does not need to write placement commands. The mod can be obtained by running a function that gives the wand, and a current brush setting decides which tree is placed next.

The brush covers several groups: mangrove and swamp oak for wetland builds, and grass and vegetation for plains. A block below each tree is set to grass to avoid misclicks when placing on the wrong surface. Tall birch and big red mushroom require More Biomes, which must be installed alongside Tree Brush.

Tree Brush runs on the server, and client installation is optional. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack for server platforms, with files for 1.21.5 – 26.3 and 1.6+mod for 26.3 as the latest. The code is licensed as All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. One-click tree placement

A brush places chosen trees and vegetation in a single click, without the commands needed for placement.

  2. Biome-aware vegetation

Surrounding vegetation is placed automatically based on the kind of tree selected.

  3. Wetland and plains brushes

Mangrove and swamp oak for wetlands, and grass and vegetation for plains, are included as brush choices.

  4. Grass base block

A grass block is placed below each tree to prevent misclicks on the wrong surface.
