Totem Optimizer reduces the visual flicker that appears when a totem is moved between the main hand and the offhand on Fabric.
What it does
When a totem is swapped between hands, the client can briefly show the wrong slot, which looks like a ghost item or a delayed update. Totem Optimizer sends extra inventory updates from the client, so the displayed slot state is corrected sooner after the swap. An anti ghost component prevents the ghosting that comes from these delayed refreshes, and the change is limited to what the player sees on screen.
The server still controls the real inventory, so the mod does not change how totems work or grant any gameplay advantage. Because it only touches the client display, it can be used alone on single-player and multiplayer clients. A server can opt out and disable the optimizer for its players, which turns it off on that side.
The mod is Fabric-only and is published across 16 release versions, including 1.21.11 and 26.1.2, and the same jar covers the 1.21.X and 26.1.X lines. It is client-side only and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
