With Potion Optimizer installed, a thrown potion appears to take effect at once on a laggy connection, before the server confirms it.
What it does
The mod changes how the client shows a potion that is thrown or drunk. The effect appears on screen immediately, even at high ping, and the item is removed from the hotbar straight away. Once the server confirms the action, the display matches the real result. Silicon is required, so it must sit next to the mod on Fabric for 1.21.11.

A thrown potion is shown as already taken effect, so the player is not left waiting on the round trip to the server.
Hotbar update on throw
The potion slot is cleared as soon as the throw happens, so the next action can be taken without a delay.
Result replaced after confirmation
The provisional display gives way to the real potion outcome once the server answers the request.
