What it does

Hats in TMW Hats are purely cosmetic, so they change how a character looks and give no protection or stat bonus. The mod is aimed at adding more unique head accessories, and it starts with a small set of options that the author plans to expand over time. Two hat types are included: Bunny Ears, which come in six variants, and Jester Hats, which come in fifteen.

Players obtain hats in several ways. Bunny Ears have a chance to drop from rabbits. The plain red Jester Hat is craftable, and the other Jester variants come from dyeing the red one. The Freaky Jester's Hat and the black and orange Jester Hats are added through a crafting menu that takes a diamond. Because the hats are cosmetic, the helmet slot is not needed for them.

TMW Hats is published for Forge only, with a single game version, 1.20.1. The server and every player need the mod installed. The author recommends pairing it with Cosmetic Armor Reworked, which lets players wear hats without replacing their armor. The code is not open source and the mod is released under All rights reserved.
