Timber Frames
by Rasa Novum
Timber Frames adds timber frame blocks for building medieval-style walls, and the frames can be placed on any wood type.
What it does
Timber frame blocks let builders lay out walls with exposed beams, and the set covers a range of styles for medieval builds. The mod was rewritten from the ground up, which gives builders more room to shape their designs. Modded wood types receive matching timber frame blocks automatically, so the set grows with other wood mods installed.
The timber frame texture takes its look from Blockus and Brandcraft, and a gallery house build shows the blocks in use. Fabric API is required on every loader the mod supports, and the mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Files cover four game versions, 1.16.5 – 1.21.1, with 3.0.0 as the latest release. Installation covers the server and each player's game.
The project is maintained by a small group of friends who make mods and plan a shared server. Source code and an issue tracker are available publicly, so players can report problems or read the code.
