TierDrop
by nianph
With TierDrop installed on a server, equipment found in chests and vaults arrives with randomly assigned tiers that differ in power level and stats.
What it does
TierDrop is a Fabric mod that adds a tier system to equipment. Loot drops from chests and vaults receive a tier, and each tier has its own power level and stats. Server owners can add tiers, update existing ones, remove them, and create custom tiers through the config.json file, which includes a guide.
Trial Chamber vaults give a further route to higher-tier gear. Opening a vault can grant additional equipment rewards by chance, and the chance of a better tier rises the longer a player spends gathering loot, which gives exploration a reason. The same tiered gear is meant to support PvP, where players compete for the strongest available equipment.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing it. Files exist for Fabric only, covering game versions 1.21.1, 1.21.4 and 26.1.1, with 1.2.10 for 26.1.1 as the latest file. The code is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

Configurable tiers
Tiers can be added, updated or removed, and custom tiers can be defined in config.json, with a guide included.
