Players who explore far from spawn can run into The Graveyard's haunted houses, cemeteries, crypts and a boss called the Lich, all added to the world by this Fabric mod.
What it does
The mod adds spooky biomes, structures, mobs and blocks themed around graveyards. Structures include a haunted house, small and medium graveyards, a mushroom grave that generates in swamps, jungles and mushroom islands, a memorial birch tree in birch forests, a large jigsaw graveyard in forests, and a crypt hidden underground. Some structures hold traps and dangers alongside their loot.
The Lich boss is summoned through a ritual. Three bone staff fragments are found in Ruins structures, one unique piece per ruin. A bone dagger, taken from a hostile villager foe or crafted, is used on villagers to fill a Vial of Blood. The pieces are then placed on corrupted deepslate in front of an altar on a floating island at night, and the vial is poured in. During the fight the Lich uses spell abilities such as a bone vortex, skull casts, levitation, falling corpses, summoned minions and a healing labyrinth, and in its hunt phase darkness surrounds the player.
The Graveyard requires Geckolib. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric only, for eight game versions across 1.18.2 – 1.20.4, and the latest file is 3.2 for 1.20.4. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
