VillagersPlus
by LithiumPlus
VillagersPlus extends the villager system with new professions, trades and workstations, and a shaft under every miner's house that leads into a vanilla mineshaft.
What it does
Each new profession has its own workstation: a Flower Tub for the Horticulturist, an Aquarium for the Oceanographer, an Enchanted Basin for the Occultist, an Alchemist Table and an Ore Grinder for the Miner. Each trade offered by the mod is written as a JSON file that VillagersTradingPlus loads, so that library must be present next to VillagersPlus.
Alchemist Table can turn three empty bottles into random potions with a 1 in 3 chance; when that roll fails, the table blows up, but the blast can be disabled in the config. On Fabric, Fabric API is required too; on NeoForge it is not. A datapack can add, replace or remove trades, change the currency from emeralds, and reprice them for VillagersPlus and vanilla professions alike, including the wandering trader. The mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, as open source. Files cover 1.19 – 1.21.8 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
Key features
Flower Tub
Holds up to four small plants or one tall plant, including flowers, saplings, corals and grass, in every wood variant.
Aquarium
Holds four sea plants and one bucketable entity. Fish Food enlarges a fish, Diet Food shrinks it, and Calming Food calms it down.
Enchanted Basin
Stores experience: right-click takes it out and sneak right-click puts it in, with the storage limit set in the config.
Miner's shaft
A shaft under every miner's house ends in a vanilla mineshaft with corridors, rails, cobwebs and minecart chests instead of a dead end.

Use cases
Custom trading datapacks
A datapack can change prices, currency and conditions for any trade in the mod without editing its code.
Who it’s for: Players who want more villager professions and workstations in their worlds, and server owners who want to tune trades through datapacks.
How it compares
Enchanted Villagers is client and server, MIT licensed and not open source, for 1.19.2 – 1.21.8 on the same three loaders. Dynamic Villager Trades is server-side only and CC0 1.0 Universal, covering 1.20 – 1.21.1 on Fabric and Forge, so players can join without installing it. Mo' Villagers covers Forge and NeoForge only, for 1.19.1 – 26.3.
