Teleport Cakes adds a cake that moves the player between the Overworld, the Nether and the End, with destinations set by placing the cake.
What it does
The mod adds cakes that teleport their user between dimensions. The destinations include the Nether, the End and the Overworld. When a cake is placed and used, the player is sent to a set target, which makes the item usable as a travel tool in survival worlds where reaching the End portal is not yet practical.
The End destination is built as a small obsidian platform on a sky island, and the platform is maintained by the mod. A 3x3x3 airspace above the platform is cleared so the player does not suffocate on arrival, and the cake stays usable even when players build protective structures around it. The mod runs on Fabric and NeoForge, needs Fabric API on Fabric, and works with Cloth Config API and Mod Menu when those are installed. It runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is published for 15 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3, under a custom license that is not open source.
Snapshot builds are published alongside the release files, and the latest Fabric and NeoForge files are both 26.1.2-v3.0.2 for 26.1.2, dated 2026-07-01.

Use cases
Reaching the End early
A player on a sky island can reach the End platform before finding a stronghold or building the portal.
Who it’s for: Players who want a food-based travel item for survival worlds, and server owners who want an alternative to portal travel. The cake is most useful where dimension access is otherwise slow to reach.
How it compares
Better Vanila Cake is a Fabric and NeoForge food mod released under the MIT License, covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.11, and it is not open source. Arya's Best Mod Ever is a broader mod for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge with the same environment and license. Teleport Cakes is limited to the dimension travel described above.
