Tank Storage
by Natanaelel
Tank Storage adds portable tanks that hold several fluids at once, with a dock for in-world access and a bucket mode for placing fluids directly.
What it does
Each tank stores multiple fluids, and tanks come in sizes from Tank 1, with 3 slots, up to Tank 7, with 27 slots, with fluid capacity rising at each step. Right clicking a tank opens its inventory screen, and holding alt while clicking an item that contains fluid locks a slot to that fluid. Right clicking while crouching toggles bucket mode, where scrolling while crouching selects the fluid to place straight into the world.
The Tank Dock gives in-world access to stored fluids, so a placed tank can be drawn from without carrying it. Tank Storage needs Fabric API and runs on Fabric and NeoForge. It is open source under the MIT License, and public links to its source code and issue tracker are available. Files exist for 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.1, with the latest Fabric build 0.1.2+1.20.1 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge build 1.1.1+1.21 for 1.21.1. EMI and Roughly Enough Items (REI) are optional and add recipe viewing support.

Use cases
Carrying fluids between sites
A player can keep several fluids in one portable tank and place them where they are needed.
Fluid depots in-world
Tanks paired with the Tank Dock let players draw fluids from a placed storage point.
Who it’s for: Players who move liquids around a base or build fluid storage on a server will find the mod useful. Because it runs on both client and server, every player on a server that runs it needs it too.
