XP Tank
XP Tank adds portable tanks that store experience as a liquid, letting players carry stored experience between places.
What it does
Tanks hold experience in fluid form. Players fill them with water, lava or experience by using buckets, and an XP Drain can pull experience into a tank. The mod is inspired by the classic OpenBlocks tank from earlier Minecraft versions, and it brings that fluid experience storage back to a modern version. The code was written from scratch for Minecraft 1.20.1.
Connected tanks share their contents: fluid levels balance across horizontally adjacent tanks and transfer downward under gravity. Obsidian-framed tanks resist explosions and keep their contents when broken, since the stored fluid is kept in the tank's NBT data. The mod works with shader packs such as Complementary Reimagined and is listed for singleplayer and multiplayer dedicated servers, though multiplayer compatibility tests are still in progress and officially confirmed in a future update.
The mod requires Fabric API. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Fabric only, and the only game version is 1.20.1, with 1.0.0 as the latest beta file. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
