Stone Crusher is a Fabric technology block that turns cobblestone, gravel and deepslate into sand, stone bricks and tiles, powered by fuel.
What it does
The Stone Crusher is a new block that uses fuel for power. Placed in the Overworld, it takes cobblestone and turns it into stone, takes gravel and turns it into sand, and handles deepslate, cobbled deepslate and related stones to produce bricks and tiles. Its model was adapted from the Simple Grinder design by Rumaruka and recoloured to look more like deepslate, and the author credits Kauperjoe's modding tutorials for help with the build.
The block works with the fuel system, so it runs as long as fuel is supplied, and it was built to replace the need for a separate sand duper. Crafting it takes a small set of common materials, including stonecutters, a blast furnace and a redstone block. The mod is distributed for Fabric 1.20.1, requires Fabric API, and is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0, so it is not open source. Source code is public, and the latest file is 1.4.0+1.20.1, dated 2025-08-15.

Replacing a sand duper
The crusher covers gravel-to-sand processing, so a separate sand duper is no longer needed in a build.
Building with deepslate
Players who want deepslate bricks and tiles can produce them from mined stone instead of gathering them by hand.
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric 1.20.1 who run automated stone processing in survival or modded worlds. Both the server and every player need the mod, since the environment is client and server.
