SSS Translate
SSS Translate is a Fabric and Quilt library that fetches community translations for Crowdin-based mods as they are approved.
What it does
Crowdin hosts translations for many Minecraft mods, and SSS Translate lets other mods pull those translations in. Once a translation is approved on Crowdin, the library fetches it automatically and makes it available to the game through the resource system when Minecraft launches. Only a new mod version is needed to pick up updates from the translation project, so mods that depend on the library stay current without manual file handling.
The library works in single-player and needs nothing on the server, since it is client-side only. Builds exist for 1.21 on both Fabric and Quilt, with the 1.5.2 release from 2024-08-04 as the latest file. Fabric API is required, and Quilt is supported but Forge is not, so the mod cannot be ported as is. The code is open source under the MIT License, which allows anyone to port or reuse it freely.
