No Sneaking Over Magma!
With No Sneaking Over Magma!, crouching no longer protects a player from magma block damage on Fabric and Quilt servers.
What it does
The mod removes the protection that sneaking gives against magma blocks, so a player standing on magma takes damage even while crouching. Options let the server also make magma harm non-living entities and set entities on fire. A separate option keeps Frostwalker protection on by default.
Only the server needs the mod. Single-player worlds run it too, because they act as their own server. It requires Fabric API. MidnightLib and Mod Menu are optional: MidnightLib enables the configuration options, and when it is absent the options fall back to their default values. Earlier releases used Cloth Config in place of MidnightLib. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Files cover 1.17 – 26.3 for Fabric and Quilt.

Magma blocks hurt a player who is crouching, which removes the protection sneaking usually gives.

A setting makes magma damage non-living entities such as item drops, off by default.

A setting lets magma set entities on fire, also off by default.

Frostwalker protection from magma can be turned off, and it is on by default.
