Spotify Hud
by Rivenix
Spotify HUD shows the track currently playing in Spotify on a small overlay inside Minecraft, with the artist name, in a clean layout modeled on the Spotify app.
What it does
Once the mod is installed, a compact panel appears on the in-game HUD with the song title and artist of the track playing in Spotify. The position and appearance of the panel can be changed in the settings screen, which is opened from inside the game and lists the available HUD options. The mod is built to stay light and unobtrusive, and it works in singleplayer worlds as well as on multiplayer servers.
The mod is a Fabric mod for the 26.2 line and the 1.21.1 – 26.2 builds listed on its page. Fabric API is required. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. The code is open source under the MIT License, and public source code is available.
Key features
Current track display
The overlay shows the song that is playing in Spotify, together with the name of its artist, updating while the music plays.
Customizable overlay
The HUD position and its appearance can be adjusted in the in-game settings, so the panel can sit where it does not cover other elements.
Spotify-inspired layout
The panel uses a clean design inspired by the Spotify interface, kept small so it does not dominate the screen.
Settings screen
Options for the HUD are opened and changed from a screen inside Minecraft, without editing files by hand.

How it compares
Spotify-controls is a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.11, client-side only, open source under the MIT License. Melodify is a Fabric client-side mod for 1.21.4 – 1.21.11 under All rights reserved, so its code is not open source. MusicDisplay is a client-side Fabric mod for 1.21.4 – 26.2 under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. Spotify HUD targets the same Fabric line and is open source under the MIT License, so it differs mainly in the range of game versions and its overlay layout.
