Spiky Enchantment
by lullaby
Spiky Enchantment, a server-side enchantment mod, adds a shield enchantment that damages attackers who hit a shield wielder.
What it does
The mod introduces a new shield enchantment with three levels. Each level increases the damage returned to an attacker who strikes a shielded player. The enchantment can be obtained from enchantment tables, loot chests and trading with villagers. Server owners who want the enchantment can also create their own, a process the author describes as lengthy and costly.
Spiky Enchantment is required on the server, and the client can run it as an optional addition. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, along with a data pack option, for 17 game versions 1.21 – 26.3. The mod is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later.
