Souls Combat HUD
by tablesouls
Souls Combat HUD replaces parts of the standard interface with a soulslike layout, showing equipment slots, a boss bar and status gauges on the client.
What it does
Equipment slots are arranged as an extended hotbar selector. The right arrow key cycles the main-hand weapon, the left arrow key cycles offhand items when MoreOffhandSlots is installed, and the up arrow key cycles spells. Holding a weapon key indicates the selected weapon. Items entering these slots can be added or removed through the config file, and Epic Fight items are included.
The HUD also carries a custom boss bar, status gauges that include teammates, and an alternative skill overlay for Epic Fight. Compatibility is built in for Iron's Spells n Spellbooks and MoreOffhandSlots. AutoHUD can keep the hotbar hidden, and the chatbox can be shifted or its anchor changed. Existing UI mods such as the Iron's Spells spell bar should be disabled before use, and the feature can be switched off in the config. Config values update without restarting the game.
Installation requires Forge for 1.20.1 only, and the environment is client-side only, so servers do not need the mod and players join without it. Files target game version 1.20.1, and the latest file is 1.3.4, released 2026-09-28. The code is open source under the MIT License.
