Some Interesting, a Fabric equipment mod, lets gear gain proficiency with use and binds items to a soul-linked system tracked from a dedicated key panel.
What it does
Emerald gear proficiency items grow stronger the more they are used, so a tool or armor piece changes color, shows visual effects and gains real stat upgrades as proficiency rises. Progression is driven only by actions such as mining, fighting, farming, gliding and blocking, and a rank-up plays a custom sound and a chat message. The mod also adds a full set of emerald tools and armor, along with a penalty reset and a durability boost stat.
Binding Stones and Binding Powder link gear to the player, and pressing K opens a UI that lists each bound item with its binding timestamps. Crafting a bound item grants a 24-hour cooldown before it can be re-crafted, which protects hard-earned gear from loss. Upgrade Forge swaps stone materials for iron, and Jump Apple and acacia leaves add a Jump Boost effect with a poisonous risk.
Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Cloth Config API and Mod Menu are optional dependencies that add configuration and menu access. Files are published for Fabric only, across 4 release versions, 26.1.1 – 26.3, under the Apache License 2.0, which is open source.
