Smooth Camera is a Fabric client mod that smooths out camera movement, for players whose view feels jerky even at high frame rates.
What it does
Players who find the camera moves unevenly despite a high frame rate can install Smooth Camera to filter the motion. The mod smooths the camera's movement so turns and pans feel more even, which the author presents as a way to make play more enjoyable. Only the client needs it, and the server can run without it.
The smoothing is deliberately kept to a minor level, and the amount of smoothing is limited, because the camera movement has to stay in sync with the server. The mod works alongside configured similar mods. Smooth Camera is published for Fabric only, across six game versions, and the code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
