SmartHUDReheated
Beside the hotbar, SmartHUDReheated draws a second strip that displays useful inventory items like a compass or a clock.
What it does
A second row sits alongside the hotbar and displays selected items from the player's inventory, so a compass or clock can stay visible without taking a hotbar slot. The display is a client-side change and needs no installation on the server. Builds exist for Fabric and Quilt across 1.18.1 – 1.19.2, with 3.1.1+1.19.2 as the latest Quilt file and 3.2.0 for 1.18.1 as the latest Fabric file. The code is under the Apache License 2.0, which is not an open-source designation for this mod's status here.
Key features
Extra hotbar bar
A second bar beside the hotbar shows items from the inventory, keeping them in view while the hotbar stays unchanged.
Compass and clock display
Items such as a compass or a clock can be shown on the extra bar, so their readings stay on screen.
Configuration file
From version 3.2.0 on, a config file controls the display, and its options are described within the file.
