Skill Slots, from Snownee, gives each player a set of slots where item-based skills can be equipped, and it works as a library for other mods.
What it does
Skill slots hold skill items that other mods and modpacks add, so a skill can be granted by equipping an item instead of by level alone. The mod provides the slot system and the screens around it. Kiwi is required on every loader, and Just Enough Items (JEI) is optional; when JEI is present, the skill buttons show a colored border. Skill Slots runs on client and server, so both need it. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 3 release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.20.1, under All rights reserved, and its source code is public.
