by SappyEddie

Simply Tents lets players set up camp almost anywhere in Minecraft, with tent models that come in several shapes, sizes and colors.

What it does

The mod adds a set of tent blocks that players craft and place in the world. Tent types include a compact solo tent, a classic A-frame, a three-sided wall tent with an open front, an open-air canopy tent with walls, a zip tent with a toggleable door, a cone-shaped variant with a tall interior and a large circular lattice-framed tent suited to a permanent base. Each tent can be dyed, and applying a dye or a wood type is done at a crafting table.

Later updates added Tipi and Yurt tents, each with two size variations, and a 2x tent type that can be crafted on a grid to produce larger variants. Canvas walls and canvas doors open and close in a physical way, and armor trims can be applied to give a tent a unique look. Because the mod runs on client and server, the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the code is closed, with all rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Tent shapes

Solo, A-frame, wall, canopy, zip, cone and circular lattice tents cover compact camps and large bases.

  2. Dye and trims

Tents are dyed at a crafting table, and armor trims can be added to change how a tent looks.

  3. Canvas doors

Canvas doors open and close with a toggle, and a zip tent has its own enclosed door.

  4. Size variants

Tipi and Yurt tents each come in two sizes, and a 2x tent type makes larger variants on a crafting grid.

Use cases

Camping in survival

Players who want a shelter on the road can place a solo or A-frame tent and pack up later.

Permanent campsites

The large circular lattice tent and the 2x variants give room for storage and gear on a base.

Who it’s for: Builders and players who want more tent layouts and interior space than a single model provides, on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge for 26.3 and earlier releases.
