Simple Football
by BMStudio
Simple Football, from BMStudio, adds football to Minecraft with placeable balls that can be snapped and kicked, goal posts, differently colored turf and endzone pylons.
What it does
Players can place a ball in the world and strike it to send it across a pitch. The ball snaps to a block position and kicking moves it along the direction the player faces, so a field can be set up in survival, creative or on a server. Goal posts mark the scoring ends, and the turf can be laid in several colors to suit different playing surfaces.
Endzone pylons mark the boundaries of the end zones, which helps a game keep its shape without extra build work. Fabric API is required on every loader. Simple Football runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 13 release versions, under the Apache License 2.0; the code is not open source, and issues can be reported through its public tracker.
Key features
Placeable football
A ball can be placed on the ground and kicked, with snapping that keeps it in a fixed block position.
Goal posts
Goal posts can be placed at each end of a pitch to mark where a goal is scored.
Colored turf
The playing surface can be laid in different colors, so a field can match a team or a style.
Endzone pylons
Pylons mark the end zones, giving the pitch clear boundaries for play.

Use cases
Small pitches on a server
Server owners can build a shared field where players gather for matches, with goals and pylons placed once for everyone.
Creative build projects
Builders can lay out stadiums with colored turf and goal posts, using the ball only as a prop.
Who it’s for: Players who want a football pitch in their world, and server owners who run pickup games or events on a shared field.
How it compares
Soccer/Football Minigame is server required with client optional, so players can join without installing it, and it is published for 26.2 – 26.3 under All rights reserved. Football Stuff is a NeoForge-only mod for 1.21.1 that needs both sides and is also licensed as All rights reserved. Simple Football instead needs the client and server, covers Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and carries the Apache License 2.0.
