Sightline

Sightline draws the predicted flight path of a held bow, crossbow or trident, and of snowballs, eggs, pearls and splash potions, before the shot is taken.
What it does
The mod calculates the exact trajectory of a held projectile and renders it as a line, so the landing spot is visible before the shot. Impact points are highlighted dynamically: blocks get a blue marker and entities a red one. Players can hold a key, usually Left Alt by default, to display the path while the item is equipped, or switch to a toggle or always-on mode in the configuration menu.
Sightline is a client-side Fabric mod, so only the player needs it and it changes nothing on the server. The author notes that it works in multiplayer, and the mod is published for Fabric only, for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11. The current file is 1.1.1 for 1.21.11, released on 2026-05-21. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.

Immersive Colors
An optional setting tints the trajectory line to match the item, such as teal for tridents and green for ender pearls.

Projectile Preview is open source under the MIT License, client-side only, and built for Fabric 1.21.2 – 26.3. HoloPath is also client-side only on Fabric, under the MIT License, but covers 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 and is not open source. Trajectories runs on Fabric for 1.21.8 – 1.21.11 and works on either side, and neither needs it, under All rights reserved. Sightline is the only one of these under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
