HoloPath

by farefenerbahce3

HoloPath draws a live holographic line showing where a thrown or fired projectile will land before the player releases it.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.1 – 1.21.11

What it does

While a player holds an ender pearl, a snowball or a bow, HoloPath draws a real-time 3D trajectory line that follows the aim. The line updates as the player moves the crosshair, and on a bow it changes length and curve as the draw strength increases. The line is dashed, which keeps it readable without covering the screen.

When the predicted path passes through a living entity, the line turns red, so the player can see a likely hit before shooting. The mod is a Fabric client mod and runs in single-player worlds. Servers do not need it installed, so a multiplayer player can use it on any server.

Installation needs Fabric. Files cover every release from 1.21.1 up to 1.21.11, with 1.4.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest build, published under the MIT License. The code is not open source.

Key features

  1. Pearl and projectile preview

The line appears automatically for ender pearls, snowballs and bows as soon as the item is held.

  2. Draw strength tracking

On a bow the trajectory line updates as the player pulls back, showing the arc at the current strength.

  3. Red hit indicator

The line turns red when its path crosses a living entity, marking a shot that would connect.

  4. Dashed line style

A dashed 3D line keeps the preview visible without cluttering the rest of the screen.

Use cases

Ender pearl placement

A player can check exactly where a pearl will land before throwing it, which helps when crossing gaps or chasms.

Archery practice

A player can read the arc at different draw strengths and adjust aim before loosing an arrow.

Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who throw pearls, snowballs or use bows and want to see the flight path before release. Only the client needs the mod, so it suits both single-player and multiplayer players.
